PlayBlue Raises $2.7 Million in Seed Funding to Expand Retail and Digital Presence

Sports retail startup PlayBlue has secured $2.7 million in a seed funding round co-led by Centre Court Capital and MIXI Global, with participation from WEH Ventures. The investment will support the company’s efforts to scale its operations and strengthen its presence in India’s growing sports retail market.

The company plans to use the funds to launch flagship retail stores and develop a pan-India e-commerce platform, enabling customers to access sports products through both physical outlets and online channels. This strategy is aimed at enhancing its omnichannel capabilities and expanding customer reach.

PlayBlue is focused on making sports equipment and apparel more accessible while driving revenue growth and moving toward profitability. As it expands, the company aims to build a strong foothold in India’s evolving sports and fitness ecosystem.
